Connecting Two Subs (1 Viewer)

Hello All,

I have two subwoofers and was wondering how i should go about hooking them up. The back of my receiver has two jacks under the sub pre out label. Does this mean i can hook up a second sub or am i mistaken. By the way,the receiver is a sony v555es if that makes any difference. Any input would be greatly appreciated,thanks.

split the connection using a Y-cable. Then run a lead to each sub.

Is that "L" and "R" or is that 2 sub outs?

my Yamaha has three connections, one is a mono sub output connection you can use a "Y" connector with two leads going to your subs{that is my choice if both subs are in the same spot} the other two connections are for left and right{stereo} sub output, if you have your subs in different spots and crossed over at a higher X over this might sound better
