Component Video Switching on Onkyo 797 and 898 (1 Viewer)

Onkyo 797 and 898 component video switching. Does the Component Video Switching on these units pass a Full HDTV 1080i signal without any quality degrading using Monster Cable Video 3 cables with short runs? What about 480P?
