Can I install Polk Audio RC55i series in my ceiling? (1 Viewer)

Hey, I´m a newbie in home theater world, so I´m sorry if I´m asking something dumb. Seeing the Polk Audio series in their site, they say the RC55i is an in-wall speaker. But can I install it in my ceiling? They say that for in-ceiling speakers, they have round ones (RC80i, RC60i). Are just the round ones that can be installed in the ceilings? Do you guys have ideas of good, rectangle speakers for the ceiling? Thanks and cheers, Paulo

Typically in-ceiling speakers have tweeters that can be aimed. In walls assume you will have them at ear height and do not. BTW - In ceiling speakers are great for background music in the super market. Not so good for home theater.

If creating a theater-like experience is on your list of goals, then no. That statement is pretty much an oxymoron when audio quality is a criteria.
