This is very strange. Months ago I was trying to watch a 3D title on Netflix. It would start to load, got up to 25% and then would stop, and get an error that I couldn’t watch the title in 3D. I contacted Netflix; we tried different things but couldn’t get it to work. This was on a PS3 connected to the TV with HDMI.
Recently I was only getting pro-logic 2 channel sound from my old Yamaha receiver when I played The Evil Within. My connection was PS3 to TV to receiver. I normally get Dolby Digital 5.1 for all other titles. But the sound is DTS for The Evil Within. So I changed the connection from the PS3 to receiver to TV. Now I was getting DTS. Since it is a very old receiver, before 3D came out, I thought the 3D would not work. But I tried again with Netflix and it works! The 3D titles start up in a second or two instead of waiting for it to fully load. The only problem is that I get no sound coming out of the receiver for Netflix 3D titles.
