Hi all,

First time poster. I'm looking for a decent HTIB with blu-ray and wireless capabilities, that falls within the sub $300 range. So far, I've narrowed it down to these 3 units.

http://www.amazon.com/Philips-HTS3564-F7-Blu-Ray-Theatre/dp/B00BG5CQ6E
http://www.amazon.com/Sony-BDV-E3100-Channel-Blu-ray-Built-In/dp/B00BI22U3O
http://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-BH6830SW-Wireless-Speakers/dp/B00BD7UVPI

I'd actually prefer a 2.1 or 3.1 system, since I don't need or want to run the wires for rear speakers. But, I've been unable to find anything. I'm hoping for the experts suggestions from this forum. Looking forward to your knowledge and suggestions.

You do realize that wireless, really isn't wireless.

The rear speaker amp/module still needs to plug into the wall and it still has wire runs to the speakers.

And hope you don't have...

1. Cell phone
2. Cordless phone
3. Baby Monitor
4. Microwave
5. Bluetooth headsets
6. 2.4 wifi

Oh sorry, let me clarify what I want with wireless. Not for rear speakers. I meant to connect it to my home network for things like Netflix, etc.

I would actually recommend this model:

http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-SC-BTT370-Channel-Surround-Entertainment/dp/B004MME6RU/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1381330793&sr=1-1&keywords=sc-btt370

Or the newer model SC-BTT 195 (which has front tall boy speakers).

Both have built-in wi-fi and apps including Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Pandora, etc.

I've had the SC-BTT370 for a couple of years and love it. Of course, audiophiles curse HTIB's but for my purposes it has worked great. Excellent built-in blu-ray player, 2 HDMI inputs (1 output). I would highly recommend it.

Does your "networking" have to be "in the unit"...

Or would you take a 2.1 that has a separate stream device?

The idea...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Onkyo-HTX-22HDX-Speaker-System-/281184658614?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers&hash=item4177e964b6
http://www.amazon.com/Roku-3-Streaming-Media-Player/dp/B00BGGDVOO/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1381332756&sr=1-1&keywords=roku

I'd rather spend the $300 that way(Amazon also has two of those Onkyo...for less...and may be missing stuff...and for more money than this one on Ebay)

Hmm, but that doesn't have a blu ray player.

Best Buy had open-box Panny 89(might have been 79) for $60.

Amazon has a crapton of the Panny 89 "open-Box" for $70 and under. Amazon also has the 79 around $70 "open-box".

Oh thanks. I would rather have an all in one unit. I don't really have the space on my entertainment center for a bunch of different components.

Any other suggestions? I read a really good review of the Philips, http://surroundsoundspeakersfortv.com/a-review-of-the-philips-hts3564f7-philips-3d-blu-ray-5-1-home-theatre-system/.
