Hello all. We just recently watched Truffaut's The 400 Blows in my film class. We did see it on a DVD at roughly 2.35:1. I was curious if this is the film's OAR? She was saying how some of the shots were compromised on this DVD, but everything looked fine to me. Any info theatrephiles?

By the way, the movie was great.

According to WideScreen Reivew, the Criterion DVD measures at 2.20:1, so it is possible that there may have been some slight cropping on the DVD. I couldn't attest to this firsthand, though.
