dave..got it all fired up today and in the car..everything worked fine except the voltage on the 5v line was too low initially..was showing 3 ish with the car off..I made a change to up the voltage..everything worked out great and I have no alternator whine..I was very worried about the noise and I put a noise filter inside the DVD unit when installing the diodes..thanks alot for the help..

ps..I have pictures of the circuit also that I will be uploading soon..
