tl;dr

If you have speakers from before 2006 (Yes, '06!) they are being recalled due to about a couple dozen incidences of fire. I... don't have that many things from 2006 still in my life, but if you do or know somebody who does, maybe this will be the trick to finally convince them to upgrade to something better! ;)

I mean, that’s not really hate. It’s just an accurate description. Bose makes small satellite speakers and their low end is channeled through a proprietary “bass module” that is not technically a subwoofer.
