Borrowing Scott Weinberg's idea, and inspired by a thread in the Music area, this is a tournament for album covers.

1. Everyone gets one "automatic" selection, seven nominations and two seconds.

2. No thirding.

3. Don't post the art during the nomination process. We'll get to it during the matchups.

Go nuts. :D

I was going to make Sgt. Pepper my auto, but I guess I'll let it get in through the nomination process and select

Automatic: Blind Faith

Nominations:

The White Album - Beatles
Trout Mask Replica - Captain Beefheart
Who's Next - The Who

Real Name
Rain
Automatic:

Season of Glass - Yoko Ono

Nominations:

I Want to See the Bright Lights Tonight - Richard and Linda Thompson
All Shook Down - The Replacements
Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie - Alanis Morissette
Music from Big Pink - The Band

I would like to respectfully suggest that we don't have thirding. It just makes everything take too long and makes things more confusing.

List updated.

Thirding eliminated. But everyone is getting 3 nominations for now, so (with great sadness, although I know it will be back  ), I'm only listing Rain's first 3.

As you were...
