Max power is power they speaker can take for only a brief amount. RMS is average power they can take all day long. HTIB from mass produced companies are usually not so good. But depending on your budget and goal maybe it will suit you fine. I don't think you're going to find many people with...
Sean, I switched it. I tested both straight from DVD and how it is now. Stephen, that's what I'm guessing right now. Going to get my friend's receiver and test it again.

Robb, I tried setting mains to small. Then the sub switches automatically from LFE to just sub and won't go back. Tried every setting possible in there. Stephen, no hum.

mode: Size Left/Right: Large Center: Small Surround: Small Surr back: None Subwoofer: Sub(LFE) Bass Mgr: Independent It was suggested to me on av123 that my sub's amp might be bad. It happened to someone else before. So I'm going to try to find someone with a good system to test my sub.

DVD player is a Denon 910. Right now I changed my wiring to where I have everything going to the TV (Sanyo 32" HDTV), and I'm using the audio output to the receiver. So this way everything that's on the screen is also going through the receiver. I turned LFE ON on every possible setting...

Robb, I only have RCA jacks and a switch that says LFE ON/OFF. So can I still use this sub when there is no LFE soundtrack? What a waste it would be to buy a sub just for that. I'd like to use it all the time. This is why I set the crossover to 80Hz, not LFE. I'm still new at this.

I changed the crossover for the sub and ran it at many different points and still nothing. It's not just LFE. I'm starting to think that either my sub is not working or the sub circuit in my receiver. I might have to get a hold of working components and test each. Maybe even try a different...

There is a power ON/OFF at the back, that's about it. The light is ON indicating power. I went through all the menus dealing with speakers/subs/crossovers, and I don't know why the sub is not turning on. I am pretty sure it's the receiver cause the sub goes into stand-by when there is no...

I'm wondering if I hooked something up wrong. I don't see how though since there is only one place to connect the subwoofer to. Do I have to turn on the sub in some menu? Speakers work fine.

I want to hook up my sub and use my TV speakers for highs until my fronts arrive. What's the best way of doing it? Denon 910 Sanyo 32" HDTV H/K 525 UFW-10
Here are the requirements. Must have a digital tuner and be at least 32" and be under $1,000. My number one choice is the Sanyo at Walmart, $747 I love their 60 day return policy so if I don't like it, back it goes. The second choice was the Zenith c32v37. It used to be sold at BB for...
I have a 525 and just got the TV stand. I put it in there and there is very little room on either side. It has about 1/4" space. I left the back open for the fan and up top it has alot of room to vent. I am ok or should I be looking to buy a A/V stand with all sides open? How much ventilation...
I swear I saw a post just like this. I think in that post the sub was facing down with no feet so the cone was hitting the shelf. Who knows, they did it once.
