Most people talk about brightness/contrast but dont mention color temp. Does having your color temp set to: cool (10,500K) Standard (6,500K) also play a big role in burn in? Just curious because it is never mentioned?

My old Toshiba 50h82 worked great with the samsung 151 ota stb. I believe the default output was 1080i. It looked so good I did not bother trying to change it to another resolution. Hope this helps.

I am not sure if you were replying to my post on dif. sounds.I agree that 2.9s can be set up to sound like 3.3s. However, I was referring to the dif. of 2.5s and 2.9s/3.3s. Anyone else bought these awesome monitors yet?

No. BB does not carry HDX only HX. Better make sure they are an authorized dealer though. Most stores like Sears + BB have 4 year service for about 300.00, and service through Toshiba is about 200.00 more. You should consider that in your price if you plan on getting service. Good luck.

Charles, Just the M6. I am using a very low Q sealed tempest in a 220 +litre enclosure. It is more than competent and musical at the very low end. I really like this speaker better than my old AC2 and maybe better than the top half of my 2.9s. Cheers!

Kathy, good for you. You are not likely to run into a problem since you are not running full range in the rears. How long 14 guage runs are you laying out for the surrounds? You may also consider running 2 runs in case you move up to 7.1 later on. Easier to lay down 2 runs at once...
