I've just stumbled across the British cover art for Red Dwarf Series 5. The US versions are normally a little different but I hope they keep the "High Lister" and "High Rimmer" on the cover.

I've noticed Season 4 is twice as long as all the other seasons. Do you know if this means HBO will split the season into two parts, or market it as one (very expensive) box?

Has anyone heard what's happening with HBO's Oz on DVD? One release per year seems a little Simpsons-esque. At this rate the whole run won't be out until 2007-8. Me sad.

Well having watched a few of those re-edited episodes I can honestly say I enjoyed them more. Particularly "All Good Things" which included two or three deleted scenes.

Scott, I don't have a source on this as it was a rumour that's been doing the rounds. The last place I heard it mentioned was on TrekWeb.com's BBS.

That explains the delay. Paramount plans to release TOS boxsets (hooray!) around the time Seasons 5 - 7 would be due. It's likely their schedule is so crowded they can't give exact dates that far ahead. By this time next year my Trek DVD collection should be complete :)

Which region are you referring to? I know that most European discs have a wide selection of subtitles and language tracks because of the countries they cover. Most Australian discs also have these options, as most of our "prints" from the British R2 masters. Personally I'd rather buy the...
