The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

I think this week--at least in terms of new releases--can best be categorized as "unremarkable!"

EXCEPT, for the release of the documentary which chronicles my 20 years of compiling the Weekly RoundUp:

full

THAT'S a "must have!" :D

Safe shopping, gang o' mine!

The Undercrank release has some good, rare silent films. The combo of Ben Model and Jon Mirsalis is always a sign of quality.

Target: Buy 2 Get 1 Free Movies, Board Games & Books Sunday April 7th - April 13th (generally Target Sale have started 3am ET though that isn't always perfect. Sometimes items can get listed as eligible early and removed later (preorders esp) so if you anything you might like it's probably worth ordering 1st.

There is nothing unremarkable about MONSTER, the most recent film by Japan's great director, Hirozuki Kore-Eda. A brilliant film about childhood, friendship and budding sexual confusion. A poetic, ambiguous ending that leaves you thinking about that conclusion. Highly recommended.
