The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

The Specials

–Best Buy, this week, has apparently chosen it to be one of those weeks where they don’t issue a Sunday flyer.  No prices/deals to report.  Maybe after an online ad appears on bb.com….

–Best Buy Odds and Ends:  None to report.

–Target this week has BONUS EXCLUSIVE DIGITAL CONTENT with its Blu copies of The Good Dinosaur.

–Target is also advertising a FREE $5 TARGET GIFTCARD if you pre-order Star Wars: The Force Awakens at Target.com/pre-order.

–You can pick up the two Blu SW Trilogies for $39.99 apiece @ Target. The Complete Saga on Blu can be gotten for $89.99.

–Target has a FREE $10 TARGET GIFTCARD if you pre-order Game of Thrones: Season 5 at Target.com/pre-order.

–And in advance of the premiere of Fuller House on Netflix (all episodes February 26), Target has DVDs of Full House: Season 1 on sale for $9.99.

–Target Odds and Ends: None to report.

Thanks for your work as usual, Mike, but nothing for me this week. I am disappointed to say that I really did not like The Good Dinosaur at all and feel no need to add it to my collection, which is a rarity for Pixar. Spotlight, I did like, but can't see it having enough replay value to justify a purchase.

I'll be picking up Fargo: Season Two, The Serpent And The Rainbow and Spotlight (the best movie of 2015) this week. At some point, I'll get The Big Sleep, The Good Dinosaur and The Graduate.

Thanks for the prices, Mike! :)

I've had "The Good Dinosaur" on preorder for quite some time as I missed it in the theaters and always purchase Pixar movies by rote. I hope I don't regret that decision based on what I just read here.

In any event, as a big animation fan, I'm fairly sure that I'll find enough to enjoy to justify the purchase!

Cannibal Woman in the Avocado Jungle of Death has to be one of the more interesting titles. I really mean just the title. There's no description of it at all on Amazon. I suspect this one is a real stinker.

Mike, the formatting on the new forum software is really cutting off the heads of your kitties. I don't like that.

Wow, Spotlight is out already? It's still playing in theaters here! Definitely renting that as there are other movies I want to see on "the big screen" this week.

This is one of the biggest single weeks of new release purchases I've had in a while.

The Big Sleep
Key Largo
The Good Dinosaur
(a blind buy for me, too)
Spotlight (Didn't get to it in the theaters)

Mike, the formatting on the new forum software is really cutting off the heads of your kitties. I don't like that.

So, when you say "kitties"...do you mean "doggies?!? :D The lone iconic cat in the disc room (Fluffy Pumpkin) seems to be front and center in that new banner. But my beloved dogs must all have headaches!

I must've forgotten to include the full WRU "Disc Room" image in this week's version. (I'm still getting a handle on a completely new way of posting up the info.) I just noticed I screwed up the formatting on one of the grids too...and I'm not sure how to edit this new article format. The last time I tried it didn't go well!

I appreciate everyone's patience as I sort this all out.

The other thing I should try is adjusting the aspect ratio of my original image to fit the new banner format better.

By the way, Johnny. I think I noticed you say in another thread that you weren't sure how to put information from outside the forum into a quote box.

In the editor, just click on the "+" sign icon (located between the film strip and camera icons).

You'll see a dropdown menu. Click "QUOTE." and some good ol' BBCode will be inserted into the editor. Just slip whatever text you've copied from somewhere else in between the sets of brackets. All set.

Thanks as always, Mike!

Spotlight is a definite rental at Redbox (if they stock the Blu-Ray) or Vudu (if streaming is my only HD rental option). It looks like a terrific movie, but not one that would have enough replay value to justify a purchase.

This year's "Doctor Who" Christmas Special would be a must-buy if they'd just go back to 1080i60 releases instead of the slowed down 1080p releases they've been doing.

Good Dinosaur 3D got cancelled, Good Dinosaur 2D is on the way. It's not one of Pixar's best movies, but I am a completist...
