Tubi TV free VOD service announces Februrary titles

Tubi claims to be the world’s largest dedicated, ad-supported VOD service, with over 9,000 movies and television shows, and has announced its slate of releases for February 2019. The company’s library comprises offerings from Warner Bros., Fox, MGM, Lionsgate and Paramount, and amounts to “more titles than Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.”

The free – but ad-supported – streaming service holds the largest library of movies and TV shows in the U.S., according to the company. It includes 9,000 titles and content can be sourced via a  proprietary “Content Personalization Engine.” Tubi is based in San Francisco with an office in Los Angeles, and is led by a team of “passionate entertainment and technology enthusiasts” who are dedicated to creating “the best premium movie and TV experience.” Viewers have access a wide range of genres without having to stump up subscription fees or deal with credit card requests.

I checked them out, and they're OK for a free, ad-supported service. My pet-peeve is that many of their movies are 16:9 pan and scan.
