Widescreen TV that is less than 23 inches deep? (1 Viewer)

Hi, everyone.

I'm planning to get a new TV over the upcoming Christmas season. My price limit is $1800-$2000, and the TV has to be less than 23 inches deep. I live in a college dorm room, so I'm held to some pretty strict size constraints. What would you all suggest as the best buy for my situation? I just got back from Circuit City and Best Buy, and they had some nice looking Samsung and Hitachi 42-43 inch sets that would fit. Do you all know anything about these? I'm not sure of the model numbers. The 53 inch Panasonic set I wanted was 25 inches deep, so now I'm looking at other options. Thanks for any advice.

I know the Toshiba 57" is 23-5/8" deep, the 50" Tosh is even less. Very nice TV's, in MO.
