dave, not sure what's up. does your toshiba have independent settings for each of the inputs? i'm assuming you're using different inputs when running the dvd vs. comcast hi-def?
although you did say you calibrated with VE ... so not sure.
on a different note, does anyone know what the "dvi output" setting on this player does? the options are "mode a" or "mode b", but all the manual says is
