Tonight on irc.scifi.com (Go to www.scifi.com and go to chat, click on CHAT NOW, then go to #Satelliteoflove) there will be a MST3K-style "heckling" of The Fast and the Furious. (IF you're IRC-equipped, just log onto irc.scifi.com port 6667 and go to #Deep13 and/or #satelliteoflove)
#Satelliteoflove is the channel where the heckling will be and #Deep13 is just for meeting.
Basically, you make jokes about the movie on IRC while watching it.
It starts at 11 PM EST, so be there!
Also, tomorrow at the same time, Jurassic Park III will be made fun of the same way at 11 PM EST.

How many users and any kind of method to make sure everyone starts it at the same time?

I remember the Big Trouble In Little China heckling. Some funny stuff (even if there was only three people there). I must show up for The Fast and the Furious heckling.

We go through everything before we start (We reccomend people getting here on time so there isn't much of a wait.)

Basically, we all cue our VHS/DVD's of the movie so that we press play at the same time. A difference of a few seconds doesn't really matter since it takes a moment to type in a comment.
