So, in your opinion, every RS SPL meter will show different results?
I have a cheap mic, but I think the problem remains if one do not have an objective base for comparisons (in this case to know exactly the response curve of the mic used).
I know a calibrated mic is needed for real data, but I'm not aware that such a mic exists for the general market.
Still, there is a program called ETF5 which you can buy with a calibrated mic and preamp.
