Help, I need somebody (1 Viewer)

I own a Runco VX-1000ci (with PFP controller) with less than 200 hours on the lamp. It began to act schizoid, so I sent it to Runco. They stated it worked perfectly, upgraded the software, and sent it back. Right out of the box, it malfunctions: controller boots up, projector begins to purr, the lamp light blinks for 8 seconds, click, and the projector cycles down, just as the lamp first begins to glow.

I have changed out all cables, except the comlink, which would have to be ordered, same result.

Power comes through Monster conditioner.

What the heck!

Anyone have any thoughts?

I suggest you contact your installer. If he is unhelpful, just give a call to Runco directly, they provide excellent customer assistance.
