DVD Player with RGB output? (1 Viewer)

I just got a 27" Zenith hdtv C27V22 that has an RGB input.

I am using the 1080i component input already with my cable box and the only other input that accepts 1080i is the RGB input.

1) Can anyone recommend a progressive scan dvd player (upconverting or just regular 480p) with an RGB output? To me it looks just like a VGA input.

2) Is it safe to hook up my pc to the tv?

Just use a component switchbox. You can get fancy ones that do auto-signal detection switching or simple manual switch boxes. This place has a few

They’re pretty hard to find with RGB. I did a search a while back for DVD players from the professional products branches of manufacturers like Philips, Sony, Denon, Marantz, etc, and found none. Someone here did come up with one recently - forget who made it, but it was an expensive unit from high-end home brand.

This is the only no name brand player I ran into. Because it is a no name brand I've had a hard time finding reviews on it.
