I think you guys underrate Courtney Love. She's not exactly Kato Kaelin. For whatever reason, there's a public fascination with her, either due to her self-destructive antics (American loves rubbernecking at a good crash), her relationship with the deceased ex-boyfriend, Kurt Cobain, or even in some small cases, her music. Check with me in 15 more minutes and I'll bet you she's still around.

The way they were making jokes, you'd think they were roasting a porn star. Constant jokes about her big pussy (is it really that big? It didn't seem that big...), her big boobs, Tommy's dick (is it really that big? It didn't seem that big...) and generally very raunchy jokes.

I can't believe they did a whole roast of Pam without a single joke about Barb Wire.

What was Bea Arthur doing there in the first place? What is the selection criteria? Do any of the comedians even know Pam?

Mark, there was just no way she was not on something during that show. Unless her brain has been so fried already by the drug use that her behavior doesn't change when she goes off them... wouldn't surprise me.

I hope some "friend" of hers can stop sucking up to her and start helping.

Totally! I loved Jimmy's comment to her (paraphrasing) "if you're NOT on drugs, then you're seriously messed up"

It is interesting that they refer to it now as "Comedy Central Roast" without the "New York Friar's" this year. Heck, did'nt ole Jeff Foxworthy have that in the title?

"Hell, I've had more black dick in me than a urinal at the Apollo."

from what i have read elsewhere, the friars club wanted too much money, and the Denis Leary was the first "comedy central" roast.
