Simply because she was the only Jedi character introduced in the series up to that point. If you read the reactions, most people were not expecting the reveal. So who were they expecting? Yes, she sent them away to seek another Jedi but she could have returned to help rescue the child.

No, I understand that. I don't think you got my point. Most viewers were not expecting Luke Skywalker. I think that she was probably high on the list of suspected individuals until the revelation.

When things leak out of our government each and every day, I must say, from the Disney side, they managed to do the unthinkable TWICE. That reveal of Baby Yoda on Episode One was a true surprise. Nobody knew that was coming. Disney fell a year behind in toy sales because they couldn't leak...

Holy F! Did not see that coming! The best season finale of any show in recent memory. We have so much to talk about once everyone catches up and we can freely spoil what we just saw. BTW...watch the post-credits all the way through!

So, The Mandalorian has reached a new level of greatness with this week's installment. Just amazing! The story, twists, and production value were just completely off the charts. To top it all off, we got a nice runtime as well

Terrific start to the season. Excellent storytelling and production value. Timothy Olyphant is a welcome addition. Hope it's a re-occurring role.

I'm not debating whether it is true or not. We'll find out soon enough. However, so many news sources are running with this story nevertheless. It's all over the web. I started reading about it a few days ago and it is still popping up in news feeds.

Why has THE MANDALORIAN become a better watch than the last three Star Wars films? Absolutely outstanding show. It's kind of amazing how it was a slow warm-up for me from the first episode but that finale just really brought it home. I am surprised nobody is talking about the other big reveal...

The problem is, Disney kept Baby a Yoda under wraps. They couldn’t leak it to toy manufacturers and thus, these toys are just going into production.

Wow! Absolutely terrific. Best episode of the series. Great to see that Gus Fring has moved on from meth manufacturing to running The Empire. Looking forward to the finale.
