Managed to watch the show this morning without any spoilers beforehand.
Well....it is what it is.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Going into the start of the 3-hour finale, I sort of figured Woody Allen would
win this season, however having to pick the best of the worst left, Erik seemed
to be the only...
Yuh know what....
As much as I dislike the remaining players in this game and
what they did to Brenda, I can't help but agree with Dalton Ross's
point.
He's right -- you don't want to win these loved ones challenge.
I have yet to see an instance where the winner comes out ahead.
This will be my final thoughts on the subject as I don't
want to keep beating the same drum. After all, there is
a big divide in opinion here, and frankly, I truly see and
respect those that look at this from the game perspective.
I have to agree what was done was repellent behavior.
Game or...
To win a challenge and then be placed in a no-win situation was not
fair to Brenda at all, I agree.
She would not have won either way. If she remained selfish and took
the reward for Dawn and herself then everyone would have retaliated
and she would have been voted out. At the same time, you...
Just finished watching last night's broadcast.
Wow. I am furious. What a horrible thing to
do to Brenda after she sacrificed her reward.
Shame on Dawn is especially right!
I am trying to look at this as a game. Yes,
Brenda probably had the best chance to making
to the end amongst the...
I may be in the minority, but frankly, I think Brenda is the
cutest of all the women this season.
Glad to see Andrea gone. She was bothering me.
The problem is, do any of us have a favorite with the group
that remains? There isn't anyone that I would root to win, nor
do I think deserves to...
You could probably guess that I was disappointed with this week's
vote knowing that Malcolm was my choice to win.
What's left is a mish mash of survivors I really have no vested interest
in. I mean, who do you root for at this point? Perhaps you go with
dark horse Cochran.
Agree with all...
Wow...Wow....(and did I say)....WOW!
One of the best tribal councils I ever saw.
Can't remember ever once standing up and cheering for
the final vote. I so much wanted Fillup gone.
Unfortunately, it doesn't quite look like Malcolm is going
to make it to the end of the game and that...
I agree that the teasers can be meaningless, but damn, they managed to
manipulate me as I was somewhat perked by what was teased last night
during the broadcast of The Amazing Race.
See...this is why I can't ever play Survivor. You put a plate
of live beetle larva in front of me to eat and I'll just walk away
from it. I mean, I won't even eat sushi.
Very surprised by this week's vote. Thought Philip would be
gone before his arch enemy.
I am surprised Phillip is still in this. Then again, I should realize the
show's manipulation techniques to portray him as the biggest problem
in the tribe so that viewers think his dismissal is imminent.
Been a busy couple days with the HTF migration. Goodto be back in good company after watching SURVIVORthis morning.Philip continues to be entertaining, and I guess I was wrongabout what I said prior about after being told by Brandonthat he was being an idiot, that perhaps he would rethink...
Quote: I get that the show can be more interesting by introducing less than honorable players in the mix. But it can also wallow in the instability and just not be that much fun.
Sam, I agree, but I also struggle with that thought. I think back to past seasons where we sat here and...
"I was the author of my elimination"
Don't know quite what to say. As others have already stated, this kind of tension and
outburst doesn't make for the best episode ever. For me, it was just an awful deviation
from the game. It's a shame that so much attention had to be put towards a...
Always seem that the people we loathe the most are taken out on medical.
What a grand way for Shamar to go. If it were more serious I would almost
feel bad for him, but I don't think there was one person in his tribe not sorry
to see him go.
What a lazy, pain-in-the-ass. Truly not...
BTW, every week that I see Sherri on the show I am
somehow reminded of Sandra Bullock. Am I the only
one that sees a bit of similarity? I think it's in the eyes.
Was hoping Shamar would be voted out, but I suppose his time will come. I have a feeling Brandon won't last too long in this game on the Favorites side. Don't have any other observations to make this week.
Had forgotten this was coming back. Ended up watching it online this afternoon before programming it on my Tivo. Also had no prior idea of this season's theme. Forgive me for not venturing into the TV area sooner. I was totally unprepared for the return of CBS shows. Wow. I don't know...
