    Timeless New Acquisitions!

The logic is, for Soldiers of Fortune, there was a set of black and white 16mm prints around for Timeless to use with little expense and for NOTG, no such elements exist and it would cost over a half million dollars to have new 35mm transfers made. Is that logical enough?

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

It would be nice be unfortunately TV shows are just not held in the same esteem by the general public. Look at old TV shows like oldies music. There are many great songs from the 50s, 60s & 70s which for whatever reason never became staples of oldies radio. Doesn't mean that there aren't many...

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

They had a classic 50s sitcom, which has been newly remastered, under consideration, and decided to pass on it. Unless a new company forms that has interest in that niche, I don't believe we'll be seeing any more black and white sitcoms. You're also talking about Timeless as if they still...

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

Many final seasons of series are severe dropoffs. Off the top of my head, The Untouchables, Route 66, Streets of San Francisco. Not uncommon. As for the picture quality, those were the old CBN transfers, which was all that was available.

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

Why do you think? Because the sales or the perceived sales aren't going to be enough to make it worthwhile to release. If anyone (CBS, Timeless, Shout, MPI) thought that December Bride or any similar show was going to be a big seller, believe me, they would put it out. Westerns & Science Fiction...

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

Because it sells as does science fiction. My 2 favorite genres are short-run 60s sitcoms because that was what I watched when I was a kid, and great dramas, like Bus Stop, Family, etc. (not cop shows). I like lawyer shows, newspaper shows, teacher shows. But none of those sell. Westerns do.

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

Sales were weak, combined with the matter of this being a Fox owned show.

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

From what I am hearing, no, there aren't plans to continue. However, the good news is that Grit TV, which thus far is running everything uncut, airs the show 4 times a day, 5 days a week. Season four should be starting shortly so this is a good place to pick up the last 2 seasons. Check your...

Go to the start of the thread if you want to know what was in the deal.

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

Not true. Target was also in that deal and we haven't seen that one yet.

I believe that is the plan.

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

NOTG has a 2-part third season episode which takes place in Las Vegas and is essentially nothing but music performances. I wouldn't hold my breath on seeing that one any time soon, even if they do release the series.

No deal in place yet but the research has been completed on music clearances so it is getting closer to becoming a reality.

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

Yeah, I don't really go in there at all. Knowing that the actual complete show versions of things like Quick Draw McGraw and Huckleberry Hound were tossed out and no longer exist dampens my enthusiasm for any HB releases. I picked up the ones I cared about from Boomerang and since they don't...

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

Word I'm getting is that a snag has been hit and only item one on your list may be scratchable. If things don't get worked out, that would really be unfortunate as I was looking forward to SFT more than any of the other titles.

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

I've been pushing them to do that one for years now. Super rare series. Only the premiere 2-parter, which was edited into a movie, has ever shown up anywhere and even that is quite hard to find. Not sure how good a show it is but its the only series that both Brenda Scott and Kathryn Hays were...

No, Target was a Ziv suspense anthology series that was produced in the late 50s.

I Spy came out over 10 years ago. Even the 3 box sets came out in 2002. Yes, you have to move quickly, as in try not to wait more than a decade.

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

Not sure how much of a difference there is, unless your off air set is compressed, which may be the case as so many of these morons record at lesser speeds even though good discs are 30 cents these days. Anyway, off-air or DVD release, they are all using the same 20-30 year old one-inch tape...

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

Really, if you want those later seasons that badly, you gotta go Madman. I picked up seasons 5,6 & 7 at a great price in Australia. Unfortunately, they don't sell it as cheaply online as they do in their stores. Season 8 hasn't been out that long so its still pricey but hopefully that'll come...

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

No, not at all. This is totally separate and apart from any Universal deals that may be in the works. They are still mining the Universal catalogue for goodies but much like Uncle Joe, Universal moves kinda slow. So any shows that anyone puts in for with Universal gets dealt with but at a...

    Timeless New Acquisitions!

Straight from the horses mouth, Timeless may be going the way of the dial telephone but if they are, they are at least going to go out with a bang. I've just learned that they have signed deals and have acquired the following series for release: Bearcats! Tombstone Territory West Point Harbor...
