Does anyone here have experience with the Pioneer VSX 32 I'm interested n the pre out capability, to bypass the internal amps

My trusty MC-1 seems to have finally died. It is in a continuous diagnostic test loop. I've tried resetting the ram as per the Lexicon knowledge base info on their site but it just goes back into its loop. I guess it's time to replace it. Any suggestions for a simple pre amp...
