Your right, it doesn't. but for the sake of time I hooked up using the component for now. I had some trouble getting the HDMI set up to work. I'll take that on once I'm done with everything else.
I figured it out.... The Amp has a "Pure Audio" selection button on the front. When this is selected all video processing shuts down and the only available video output is the HDMI. Easy solution, next time, I'll read the book first.
