Anyone here own the Samsung HD941? I got it for 120 bucks, killer deal. I hear tons of nitpicks on the AVSforum about the player, just want an honest review from someone.

Cool, thanks for all the help guys. I'll probably go with the Samsung for the SACD and DVD-audio playback. Plus I hear the picture is excellent and I can get it cheaper than the Toshiba.

Well I've boiled it down between the Samsung HD941 and the Toshiba 5980...all I really care about is the best picture quality. I've heard good and bad things about both.

Is that the 5970 or the 5980 that you have? I hear they fixed almost everything for the 5980.

Yeah I was looking at the Samsung HD-950 also, but I heard that player has really bad macroblocking. My three picks are between the SD-5980, the Panny s77s and the Samsung HD-950.
