Stewart's House apparenlty Is going to be on the DVD (it's 29th on the List). And it's a Perfect Candidate for a Director's Cut. Washing the Dog and Comedians (Both also on the List) were also on the Banned List at one Point or Another. Now, If They'd only release Way Down Mexico Way...
On Amazon.com One of the Reviews for the upcoming Beavis and Butthead DVD lists a possible list of Contents for the DVD, based mostly on The Preview found on the Longest yard, and some relevant quotes. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...s=dvd&n=507846 1. Top Of the Mountain * 2. Mr...
I'm Not Sure if this has been posted (in whihc case i'd hate to beat a Dead Horse), But It appears that a Complete Jackass Box set, as well as the perennially delayed Jackass Volume 1 will be coming to DVD Soon. There'll be the usuall stuff as bonus Feautres (Deleted Scenes, VMA Footage...
Paramount, Like Warner Bros, treats it's animated properties like poor stepchildren (For Example, When was the LAst Time PAramount Released Rocko's Modern Life on DVD? Wasn't in My Lifetime, that's for sure. And Why Did AnimeWorks have to license Invader Zim to get that show on DVD). The...
The Show that Needs to be in the Nick Rewind Collection the Most is Rocko's Modern Life, which goes without saying. There's no music rights to lcear, it's popular, and it's funny, But PAramount apparently hates RML with a passion rivaling that of Disney for Song of the South
In case anyone hasn't seen these episodes so i don't give away certain plot points or major events. Oh, In case anyone want's to know, I can link to a comprehensive list of B&B Edits (the aforementioned one i made) so you know exactly what has been edited from which episode.
After doing some extensive research, I was able to gather that 19 Episodes (all of which were made in the First 4 Seasons) were banned, or shown censored/edited on MTV. Also, 11 of them were retained their MTV edits on Video, Laserdisc, and the History/TimeLife DVD's. Of These 19, 7 pertain...
As Much as i'd like to see a release of the MGM cartoons on DVD, all signs point to that being a lost cause. Think about it, Wanrer has only very recently gotten around to putting the Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerrys on DVD (The latter being the only Non-Disney Animation DVD to date that...
TVShowsonDVD has posted on the mepisode issue. The Correct Number of episodes is 40, NOT 14 (I was right ;) ). Link: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=3987. On a side not,e Between tis and the Muppet Movie being AR, i sure hope that the missing cartoons from WDT Wave 5 are...
Languishing in WHV's vaults apparently. From my Count, There are about 200 Non-Tom and Jerry MGM cartoons, enough for quite a few sets, and Warner is doing absoulutly nothing with them. Really, If nothing comes out this year, chances are they probably will never see light on the DVD Format.
Surely not EVERY Show on this list suffers form LEgal/Music PRoblems (The "No 1." Cause for TV Shows being withheld on DVd). There has to be a flip side of the coin , Studios who either don't know thatg they own certain shows on this list, or don't care. (Look at how Madia Blasters had to...
If You Look at TVShowsonDVD's Announcement, They are saying 40 SHORTS are being included on the Set, But Davis DVD is Saying that 14 EPISODES are being included on the Set. If DavisDVD didn't get forty and fourteen Mixed Up, maybe Paramount are ocunting the Episodes as having two more more...
Considering howe the Beavis and Butthead "Episodes" are on average less than 10 Minutes long, I can't Imagine What would posess PAramount and Mike Judge to put out a Beavis and Butthead 3-Disc Set with fewer than 30 of them on it (Even the History DVD had 32 shorts on it). I can only hope that...
Another Point of concern for the Ducktales and Rescue Rangers sets is will they have their original closings restored. Explanation: The Final Card of The Original Broadcasts of Ducktales, Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Gummi Bears featured a unique...
Wonderi f these will be Best Of's or Volumes in Chronological Order. Probably the Former. What I'd REALLY like for disney to do is put out DVDs for Raw Toonage (You could get the Complete series of that show in one set. It's somewhat of a Cult Hit), or Bonkers.
MY MAin problem with the cuts is that they were discovered at the eleventh hour. With Married with Children Season 3, Columbia Tri-Star let us know in advance that the opening song owuld be replaced (The hcange was also mentioned in the packaging) , Shout Factory let us know ahead of time if...
I don't Know if this counts, but they also Cut out One line of dialogue from the ptich reel When Kermit says "What The Hell Was that
Also, According to Mupeet Central's Forums, The Vincent Price episode was apparently included uncut on one of Columbia/Tri-Star's Best of Sets.
I have heard on the Ultimate Disney forum that the Muppet show box set ISN"T acutally unedited and contains sporadic cuts throughout the first two Discs. Unfortunately i can't confrim this, and the person who brought this up didn't go into detial on what's missing
What about the Music in the 60's Alvin Show, Would THAT Present a Problem? But to Answer the topic Question, I've heard rumors that a CGI Chipmunks movie is in the works with a 2006 Release Date. Tie-ins for that movie are possible (A La Garifled and Fat Alert). But if the Muisc Issues are...
http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=3739 Apparently, They are going to put all of the 1990-1994 Ren and Stimpy Episodes and the Spike TV Ren and Stimpy Episdes on an Untlra Set. Sounds Coll (Hopefully Tey'll reverse all of the edits and fake fade outs
I saw the List, and Apparently Philbert and Sinkin' in the Bathtub will be Included. Cool.
From what i've gathered, The WB Cartoons made between 1935 and Early 1941 Have one card for the Titles and Credits, Cartoons Made between Mid-1941 to 1945-ish have two Cards (One for the Titles and One...
