My sub is not a powered one, all it has is the two regular speaker wires. And yes, I did that...I connected the sub to a "standard" speaker and it works fine. Yeah....I think I'll get something powered simply to test it. It doesn't make sense that a receiver like this will come brand new...
So why are there two sub connectors...one of them specified as "powered sub"...?! And yes, I do believe she was wrong...it doesn't make sense that the TEST will show the sub if it does not suppose to 'test' it...
