I have an older model of Sony's 5-disc DVD changer (1997) and I've been having problems playing DVD's with Dolby Digital 5.1 specs (no sound). Is it because the DVD doesn't have a decoder or is it just the way I set it up? Or is it time for me to look for a new DVD player? Thanks

I have just purchased Definitive's Supercube 1 and am may be having problems with the way the speaker is set up. I have a denon 3803 as my receiver and I'm using the LFE input/output as the speaker connection (12 ft). Whenever I play music/movies I can hear a crackling sound from the speaker...
