I was a bit behind so forgive me this delayed comment on the second episode of the second season, "Night of Desirable Objects": I was wondering if anyone would agree that this was one of the scariest TV episodes of the past decade? Just.... wow!
Excellent sophmore season so far, by the way (I...
I haven't seen the season yet (waiting for the BD set), but may I ask if there was one episode that you found rather scary? Just wondering in anticipation.
Is there some way to reach them via email or through some contact sheet? I'm not from the US and have imported the set, so I'd prefer some other way than calling.
As far as I know the ratings are a disaster, and that says something since the expectations were rather moderate. I think it was billed as a miniseries but if it would have done better, we wouldn't have seen the last of it, I'm sure. Pity, it's a show really well done and a welcome change...
Quick music question (haven't seen it yet, I'm not from the US): Have they used the Darth Maul Battle Theme (Duel of the Fates) from Episode 1 in some instance, or a variation of it?
Yeee-haw! Fantastic news, didn't believe there was a chance for that after all that doom and gloom. I am extremely happy about this....thank you, FOX! What does this mean for Dollhouse, though? Hopefully not the Friday-timeslot-of-death?
"The Arrival" was an incredible episode, I really loved it. I'm still wondering how FOX is feeling about this show, though...whether they are disappointed they aren't getting Lost-like numbers and if they are planning to order more episodes. Well, anyway....fantastic stuff so far.
I love this show, it has a very unique atmosphere. Anyway, what I wanted to ask: FOX hasn't picked Fringe up for anything more beyond the initial six episodes, or have I missed something? So three to go? ("The Arrival", "Power Hungry" and one with an unknown title)
Well, what IS the correct order to watch Season 4? The airdates or the production numbers? I chose the latter and I'm at "Nocturne" now which would be the sixth episode for me, but so far I'm not sure if the episode order as it is on the DVDs would have been preferable. Any ideas?
Don't worry, it won't be. The ratings are abysmal and the writing is pretty much on the wall that TSCC will be canceled after its second season. :frowning:
I thought the numbers were decent? If True Blood is about to go the way of John From Cincinnati, Deadwood, Carnivale and Rome, I won't bother investing myself in it. Have been burned to many times...
After episode 2, I'm officially in love with this show! Incredible! Let's hope it will last.....looking at the ratings it's by no means a safe bet, not even on FX. They canceled Dirt, after all.
What, nobody watched? Despite mixed reviews I think this is definitely the next "Shield", simply because of its grittiness und unpleasentness, which I love. The journey that lies ahead of Jax, the protagonist, seems to be very promising also, and the whole looks of the show, its cinematography...
Just found the email address of Sony Pictures Home Video...I guess it couldn't hurt to tell them that there are in fact people waiting for season 4 on BD. Please spare two minutes of your time to let them know. [email protected]
I have no way of watching the show since I'm not a US resident, but before I venture a blind buy let me ask this: How much of the show is continuative storyline and how much is stand-alone procedural, case-of-the-week?
I didn't get around to buy this one yet, and I was wondering: Is the Limited Mausoleum Edition still out there, or could it be that I get some other version if I order it online?
I agree, but I find it strange nonetheless. I get why they wouldn't release new shows on BD, like "Life" or "Chuck"...but I suspect "Desperate Housewives" always sells like pancakes. "Supernatural" and "Gossip Girl" have also been announced on DVD, so the chances for those to receive...
I got four titles on my own of which I would like to know their chances to go Blu-ray: Supernatural, Season 3 Gossip Girl, Season 1 Desperate Housewives, Season 4 Breaking Bad, Season 1 Still not over the "Rescue Me" disaster :frowning: ...will Season 4 ever come out on Blu-ray or...
As you all know, the third season of "Rescue Me" was released on Blu-ray last June. I was particularly happy about that and took it pretty much for granted that the rest of the show would also be released in hi-def, on whatever format would turn out to be victorious in the end. For a short...
Well, sounds like trouble to me. Aw man, they can't do this....it's a really, really good show and a welcome change in their procedural-heavy programming. :frowning:
Well, in the interviews with Kripke he clearly stated that the Winchester boys were to FIGHT Jason in this episode, but your idea is nice, too. :) But since it was not meant to be I'll enjoy that episode the way it is.
How did they circumvent the Jason-problem in the previous episode, "Dream a Little Dream of Me"? (they wanted to use "Friday 13"-Jason but weren't allowed in the last minute due to copyright issues). Did the episode suffer, was ist obvious something was left out?
