    I second Bill Prince-Acoustic Sounds are great. Also you migh want to check out Amazon-they have pretty good selection, although they are not prompt in their shipping. Also another place that comes to mind is First Impression Music.

    Is it safe to buy used?

    I bought my Parasound HCA-855A from www.audiogon.com as a very first time, used, on the net purchase and would do so in a minute. Really, the person I bought it from was extermely pleasant and honest and the product was in the condition he described-perfect(oh, yeah...he double boxed it!!!).:)

    HK AVR8000 Vs. 525 as pre/pro

    Personally I have the 8000 paired with a Parasound 855 amp. Tried it both ways and with the amp there is a world of difference. As far as the 525 it is an inferior product not that it isn't good but for my $ I would not trade for a 8000(except maybe for a Lexicon).
