Lewis Have you been on the avsforum.com - several people are having problems with BM with 2900. THere are a couple of threads where a lot of complaints can be seen with respect to BM.
Denon 3800 would definitely be a huge upgrade from 5700. However, you need to buy one, which is built from Oct 2002 onwards (from serial nos. 210 and up)but then you should also consider the new 2900 - probably around $100 more.
