i have a friend whos parents are talking about getting a new TV. whats the main differences between the two? i've heard that plasma TVs like to burn out in quadrants? can anyone elaborate a little more on this? thanks! Trevor

thanks for the response. i actually found several 27inch TVs at ultimate electronics for close to or under $250. what brands are the best? there were a couple panasonics, JVCs, Sharps, i think there might have been a Sony or two...

i'm leaving for my last 2 years of college next fall and i'd like to go ahead and get a new TV. because im not sure how big my dorm will be, i'd like the TV to be 24inches to 27inches. what should i look for in a TV? it will be used mainly for gaming and DVDs. thanks...
