I got the Panny edtv from Amazon. The price was very good. Delivery was good. The install was very easy. After calibration, to my personal preference, the picture is very good.

Amazon is selling the 42" panny edtv for around $1300 and the hd for $1900. No tax, but around $100 more for shipping. Picture can be a matter of personal preference, take a look for yourself. The Panny is pretty sweet.

Dell is running 20% off through Wednesday on plasma units. Their policy pretty much allows a full return for credit within 30 days. Hard to see where you could go wrong. I have heard horror stories about some online suppliers, and the chances of problems with a plasma would really worry me.
