I don't know if those are good prices or not but I've made all of my Paradigm purchases from Audio One at 400 and Steeles. Really knowledgeable and gave me the best prices I could find in the GTA for my Paradigm Monitor setup. Fairview Hi-Fi in Burlington was a close second.
I am not aware of a fix, I think it is just the nature of the beast. I have the exact same problem with my digital cable, channels 1-99 in quiet analog and 100 and up in loud digital. Also I only get pro logic II out of all the digital channels even though my converter says dolby digital.
