Folks, Looks like anyone with TAG gear (like me) is going to be lumbered with a dead-end product. No more upgrades - no new products. And it's a official. I'm absolutely furious. I can't post a link, I haven't been here long enough, but go to the High Fidelity Review site for...
News ahead of CES. Lexicon's first source component, plays DVD-Audio and SACD and only $3,500. :rolleyes

Also news on that page about their long awaited MC-8 processor, replacement for the MC-1 and DC-2 (about time).
Not sure where to put this as THX have a finger in so many pies, but according to

...a 60% share in the company has been sold to Creative. There goes the neighborhood. :frowning:
John: thanks for the additional info. I've got a AVR-5800 so the upgrade is more important than the new receiver and I can live with the downtime while the board is swapped.
Good to see a picture of you up there too! ;)
Anyone seen the AVR-5800 upgrade picture here:

Looks like quite a piece of work, the AVR-5803 doesnt look bad either :) but thats got to be a factory upgrade?
For what it's worth, there's a followup to that story where Bob Stuart of Meridian also urges caution. Heres the URL-
