I've seen Universal catalog titles such as Seabiscuit, Red Dragon, Fast & the Furious 1 & 2, Fear & Loathing in Las Veags, The Rundown etc. drop to $27.99 CAD at most B&Ms. A lot of these had previous stickered prices of $32-$36 each. The Departed combo is on sale at BB and FS here in Canada...

Yes, thinpacks. Both versions of #1 come in one pack, 2 & 3 have their own cases and both Dominion and Beginning come together in one case. Only reason I may get this is because it takes up the space of about 2 regular DVDs.

I've had a chance to look at a set at a video store that got an early copy and was a bit dissapointed....the films are all repackaged, no new transfers. Even the old artwork is still there down to the double sided 25th Anniversary edition. Still I'd probably replace my old discs with this one...

As far as I can tell, it appears that the new Fox version does have newer chapter art and also a 'play all' button for the chapters. Both sets however, appears to have the same AR (not sure if it is 1:66 or 1:85....looks more like 1:78 to me...) and both are still non-anamorphic. I was hoping...

Brad, the 602.5, 603, and 604s are NOT shielded. If yot have a direct view tv (as I do), you will have to place the speakers at LEAST 20" off to the sides. The LCR60 and 600 are both shielded. If you can afford the space though, these speakers are really great for both music and HT.
