Marshall, I just graduated in May with a Comp Engineering degree and from the interviews I've had - about 5 of them, it was pretty much the other way around. 4 of them were very technical. In most of those interviews, I faced a barrage of technical questions and programming/logic design...
I've heard of that report as well. I read somewhere else that it was a typo and that the figure was 20,000, which is still pretty low. But of course, everybody would like to believe the 200 figure as it would make a better story.
