but anyways, i'll be getting my first car soon (i'm 16) and i'm planning to put either a single or pair of shiva's in the trunk. my friend has one in his Golf GTI (hatchback) and it sounds awesome, just the amount of output i want. my question is...
"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"
I guess you kind of had to have done some of the drugs in that movie to know what's going on half the time....

I've got one in a 6cu.ft. ported sonotube tuned to 22hz. I love it.

Wow, nice site!!! the speakers look great and the site design is also really well done. I love the veneer, looks just like the stuff I used on my DIY speakers.
Once again, great job! :)

>>Okay what I heard from both the coffee table sub and my Twin Sealed sub was a MESH MADE IN HEAVEN. I mean the two together blended wonderfully within our room.
Well, not that the 23hz tuning was really unsatisfactory, it was okay, but the higher tuning on the sub sounds SO much better when paired up with the 15". I get a good amount or that "kick you in the gut" type of bass with both movies and music that I never got before. I'd really recommend doing...
Yup, i've got a Shiva in an SBB4 alignment. Sounds great, but it seems to be a lot more powerful in the 22-35hz region than it is in the 35-60hz. When I built my Parts Express 15"DVC sub and added it to my system, I noticed that the low end was way overpowering compared to the mid-bass. So what...
>>go to Radio Shack and pick up a 75 to 300 and a 300 to 75 ohm transformers. Piggyback them and you shouldn't have any noise any more. Worked for me. Although I had to use the method Patman suggested also. With only one or the other I get a small hum.
Wow, they look great so far! The enclosure looks really good, I wish I had that kind of woodworking skill! Can't wait to hear the report on how they sound...

Wow, looks great! I like the wood endcap, i'll have to try that on my next sonosub. I also really like your flexy rack. I might build one pretty soon and it will probably look a lot like yours!
Keep up the good work!

yup, I had the same problem and I got rid of it by unhooking the cable from the T.V. Also, try unhooking the VCR from your T.V. This also caused a hum.
