Actually... Stallone and director Malmuth didn't agree about a lot of things and Stallone did direct a lot of the film himself after the director left.
Some of my favourites are 'Let It Bleed', 'Exile On Main st.', 'Sticky Fingers' and 'Goat's Head Soup'... 'Bridges Of Babylon' is not too bad either... Especially the openingtrack 'Flip The Switch'.
What about Paul verhoeven? He made 'Soldier Of Orange' in Holland and it's still my favourite WWII film. I think he's very capable in combining violence, realism and believable characters... Just look at 'Soldier Of Orange', 'Flesh + Blood' and 'Robocop'. Randy
I like the movie too... It gives me the same feeling as when I watch Titanic... I think Michael Bay is good at what he does... Make entertaining films... The visuals are very nice (as are in all Bay's films i.m.h.o.) and the special effects are great... They remind me of the spacebattles in Star...
