I am not sure there will be anything but losers in the format war. People are reporting that the upscaling of SD DVDs in the new Toshiba HD-AX2 is so good they can not tell the difference from HD-DVDs even on large displays. Just get one of these players and be done with it. Remember the winner...
Is this really something to get worked up over? Mine will not even be seen on the shelf between others. I do not think I have ever said to a house guest - forget the HT demo check out the cover on this DVD box.
A web site called Directvideo.com sells the Sopranos box sets at a good price. However they do not list much information about DVDs. Is anamorphic widescreen the only way the Sopranos comes?
