Well it is finally happened, a problem with my set. I have owned it since it first hit the shelves and have had good luck with it. Until last night that is. I came home from our local HT get together and my wife was watching some TLC show when all of a sudden the TV let out a popping/buzzing...

All, Last night I tried to watch a LD on my Pioneer CLD-79. To my surprise, the only thing that came across my screen was a P5 error code. What exactly is this code and is my pride and joy player done for? :frowning:

Doug, Try looking at other receivers on Remote Central with the same original remote model number. They are not always listed but you might get lucky.

Brian, I would go with the TSU2000 for the sake of extra memory. However, that being said, it is still easy to create a "killer" CCF file with the TSU1000. BTW, if you need any help with the programming software...drop me an email and I would be happy to help you out. :D
