B&K has only commited to price of the upgrade for the Ref 30 to Ref 50 at a cost of $498 and no remote is included. B&K has not set date to when they will accept the unit to perfrom upgrades yet. At this price basically you get a Ref 50 minus balanced inputs for $1500 minus remote if you...

Steve, I think the unit helps Video more than Audio. I also think the 3500 model is all that is needed for the video improvment and sells for half of what this unit costs. If you have ground loop problems the balanced power may help and a 5100 or 7000 should eliminated it. Hope this helps...
