SORRY i don't know anything about this separate amp thing. MY receiver is a sony str de985 it has jacks for a 2nd room is that where i would hook up a 2nd amp. THANKS

How do you hook up a separate amp to a 6.1 channel a/v receiver.Do you just run the speaker cables from receiver to the amp then to the speakers. Or do you run the amp to the receiver then to the speakers?And do the 6 channel amps cost much THANKS

KYLE I just bought one have they fixed the problems on the new ones or are they lemons.I read your post after i ordered it there is a few more stories just like yours out there.I think iam stuck with it inless i eat the shipping cost.But you did like it did it sound better than the saw-40?

My receiver has a crossover setting for each speaker iam not sure what to do with it?There's no crossover setting for the sub is large and small the only setting i need for that?

I ordered the jbl pb12 sub without reading the bad reveiws first.What would you do eat the cost of shipping or take the chance that they have fixed the problems. It would $70 for nothing or $250 for a forty pound lemon.Has anyone bought one of these lately.
