I ordered the jbl pb12 sub without reading the bad reveiws first. What would you do eat the cost of shipping or take the chance that they have fixed the problems. It would $70 for nothing or $250 for a forty pound lemon.Has anyone bought one of these lately.

I just bought my PB12 and I have had it for about a week and I love it. It provides more than enough bass for my needs. I turn it off after a movie or at the end of the night. I was like you... I wondered if I did a bad thing but so far I love it. I hope I am not another victim.

I've had mine for 3 years now. It's been sitting in standby or on for the majority of that time. no problems whatsoever

I love mine, had it since last November. For the past few months I try to remember to turn it off when it looks like I won't be using it for the rest of the day. I generally only use it for movies (DVD or HDTV). No problems so far!

I love the PB12. Even though the one I had crapped out a couple weeks ago, it's getting fixed for free at the moment, so I'm not too upset. If I had to pay for shipping etc I'd be a whole lot angrier. But as far as sounds go, it adds a whole new dimension to music and movies especially. If you're going to get one just make sure you get all the coverage you can.
