The way I remember it, they didn't plan to do that from the start, so yes, it was kind of jarring. But they made it work, and it really upped the drama of the last two episodes.

Wow, I thought I was the only one that remembered this show. I was barely old enough to watch the Showtime version of this, and the I still remember the original Super Dave skits. I would buy this on DVD in a heartbeat, esp. if lined with genuine Saskatchewan seal skin fur for safety.

I agree. After watching Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid tonight on a gorgeous DVD, The Sting seriously needs to be released the right way.

This is one of the few shows that I wouldn't mind being released with out original music. It has been so long since I've even seen the show, I wouldn't know the difference anwyay. Miama Vice, et al, that's different. MV was almost a music video.

And then eventually there will come TROTK EE :D

Buying both (theatrical cut, exteneded cut in gift set), keeping both.

I'm a on and off fan of SVU, but bring on L&O: Criminal Intent! I'll be picking up these two discs, and already have season 1 of L&O Classic.
