I have had some friends say, "This is NOT Hi-def!?" The picture is so good it looks like it is Hi-def. I watch Hi-def with my 4805 connected to a Dish Network 6000u and the PQ is great.

Bass shakers are the best bang for the buck. Deffinately worth it!:emoji_thumbsup:

Keep the dvd player set to 16:9. You didn't mention what t.v. you have, but usually the t.v. will have a setting of "full" or maybe "wide" for the aspect ratio for anamorphic movies. I have a Panny widescreen t.v. and I use "full" for the setting.

Me either, but I wasn't really trying to hear it either. The picture quality was so good, it was like watching a new movie.

I'm using the Panny XP-30 to my 4805 via component. Outstading video quality! Might be a little hard to find the XP-30 now though.

Actually, if you go to the blockbuster website, they are now promoting Online rentals for 19.95 a month/3 out plan, just like netflix. They are also advertising over 25,000 titles. Anybody tried them out yet?

I agree somewhat. With all the hype surrounding this movie I thought it was going to be wall to wall action. Don't get me wrong, it was very good, but with all the rave reviews, I guess I went into this movie thinking it was going to be flawless. The cg was very good though, they are getting...

Exactly my feeling as well.

PRS has some awesome guitars. Great sound and they look cool as well. I am starting to see alot of guitarist switching to PRS over the years.i.e., Santana, Mark Tremonti of Creed, Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, Chris henderson of 3 doors down, Dave Navarro, etc.
