It's the 5300 without the external amp. It's powerDVD alright. I downloaded a trialver. of WinDVD with *proper* LFE decoding. Now I just have to buy that software since the titles stop playing after 5mins :frowning:

I'm not using an external amplifier. I'm using powerdvd's own decoding capabilites and the Creative Inspire 5.1 computer speaker system with it. Perhaps I've been somewhat unclear about that.

Nope. It's not connected via SPDIF. I also tried the LFE mix, this resulted in me having to reinstall Powedvd, since I only had stereo :).

I'm using the said software with a creative Audigy soundcard and Creative Inspire 5.1 speaker system. The thing is there's almost no bass in movies. It works great with games and music and I have som bass, but nowhere nere where it should be. Also when I try the "THX optimode" included on some...
